Julbo: the creator of crystal glasses for the mountains
Julbo is a French brand based in the Jura.

Jules Baud, its founder, developed the first crystal glasses at the request of chamoniards who wanted to protect their eyes in the mountains. This is how the company began in 1888. Julbo then launched Vermont glasses in 1950, specially designed to go on glaciers and climb the highest peaks. Also used in lifestyle fashion, it is an essential reference for the brand.

Yannick Seigneur, a great mountaineer known to have been the first Frenchman to climb the three "8,000", was the brand's technical advisor and tested many Julbo eyewear models.

Julbo glasses: for all sports
In 1990, Julbo entered new markets and launched collections of sunglasses for sailing and sunglasses for children. Since 2000, there are collections of Julbo glasses dedicated to all sports activities in the outdoor sector, trail, mountain biking...
