Description :

Look's commitment to continuous product improvement and excellence has resulted in a new, durable and easy-to-use pedal.

These new Look X-Track Race Carbon Ti MTB pedals have been designed and developed around a robust mechanism, resistant to the many interactions that can exist between them and external elements, such as rocks, roots or mud. They ensure constant, unaltered performance over time.

The axle line features an improved double seal to withstand the worst possible climatic conditions.

The best Power to Weight ratio


All the energy you develop is transmitted to your mountain bike via your pedals. Their role is therefore crucial.
The aim of Look's new project was to find solutions that would enable you to transmit the energy you develop as efficiently as possible. This is why Look has chosen to make the weight/support surface ratio the first parameter in product definition.
Schematically speaking, the greater the bearing surface, the more efficient the transmission of energy. Conversely, the greater the bearing surface, the greater the weight of your pedal.
The challenge faced by our engineers was therefore to identify the areas useful for energy transfer and to optimize the design of the pedal to limit non-useful areas.
The result is a pedal with the best weight/support surface ratio on the market.

The position of the lateral support surface


The position of the lateral support surface guides your foot to find your pedal and provides you with a contact zone even when you're not yet engaged.
This wide contact zone prevents your foot from slipping on the pedal body and gives you reassuring, consistent support.

Mechanism geometry


The mechanism operates regardless of the external conditions encountered. Mud imposes significantly different constraints to those encountered in dry conditions.
Large zones have been defined to allow the flow of various foreign bodies (mud, sand, etc.). This ensures a constant, long-lasting interlocking feel in all circumstances.

Tension adjustment


The tension setting allows you to adapt the hardness of engagement and release to your level of practice.
