Cushioning: very high
The thicker the underfoot cushioning, the smoother and more comfortable your stride. Cushioning absorbs shock when your feet hit the ground. With our premium ZoomX and Cushlon foams, the Vomero 17 provides a supple feel underfoot to keep you balanced with every stride. Thanks to feedback from athletes, we've also removed the Zoom Air unit from the forefoot of the previous simplified version and the midsole for even more cushioning.

Responsiveness: very high
The more responsive the shoe, the greater the energy return with each step. If you want to run a little faster or with a little less effort, reactive shoes are ideal. They give a little more bounce and let you get the most out of your run. With the Vomero 17, our ultra-reactive shoe, the foot rests on ZoomX foam: Nike's lightest foam with the best energy return. The foam underneath creates a lighter, more fluid and dynamic stride.

Support: neutral
The shoe's support provides stability for your natural stride. Adjusted support and targeted cushioning give you a feeling of security with every step. The Vomero 17 provides neutral support. It provides perfect balance for both heel and forefoot attack. Suitable for both short and long runs, it ensures a fluid transition from heel to toe, for a natural stride.

Stability and comfort
This shoe is all about comfort, so you can have fun from the very first kilometer. Woven mesh creates a lighter, more breathable upper than previous versions of the Vomero. The soft insole offers immediate comfort, and the softer collar is a pleasure to wear around the heel during a run. With its padded tongue and soft, stretchy laces, this shoe is super comfortable.

What's new in the Vomero 17?
We've simplified the construction of the 17 by removing the Zoom Air unit from the forefoot. We've also added ZoomX premium foam to the midsole for added comfort and cushioning. The result? A smoother, more responsive stride.
Abrasion-resistant rubber outsole with lugs for enhanced grip.
Flexible outsole for better transition from heel to toe.
