Description
The Magura MT8 Raceline brakes are the ultimate XC brakes, with power and braking quality to match.
Their light weight is partly due to their no-compromise construction, with a 100% carbon fibre short two-finger lever for easy control and perfect metering. You'll be able to negotiate curves and sloping roots without worrying about braking. Magura has developed a new material, Carbotecture SL, a carbon-based manufacturing process in a thermoplastic matrix for maximum strength.
The levers now have a new, more ergonomic shape. Maintenance is child's play, since a single Torx T25 spanner is all that's needed for assembly and draining. The lever is made entirely of carbon.
The MT8 Raceline's 2-piston caliper is forged in a single block.
The result: despite its incredibly low weight, the MT8 offers the greatest braking power and strength in the 2-piston range.
New seals combined with the shape of the pistons ensure that they stay in position even in mud or ice.
