The Torq Recovery drink represents this 3:1 blend of multi-transportable carbohydrates and high-quality whey protein. Research suggests that consuming portable carbohydrates and whey protein in a 3:1 ratio, together, immediately after exercise, will accelerate glycogen synthesis. In other words, multiple consumption of whey protein, glucose derivatives and fructose derivatives will help you store carbohydrates more effectively than any other method. Research has also shown that whey protein works faster, is more soluble and is more easily absorbed/synthesized than any other type of protein, providing the amino acids needed for muscle recovery with little delay.
