Description

This Mulebar sports drink has been designed with the French specialist in sports drink formulation. It supplies many professional soccer, basketball, cycling and rugby teams, as well as marathon runners, trailers and triathletes, with customized formulations. In the photos on this product page, you can easily compare the major differences in formulation and dosage with the leading brands on the market. Our guideline is that one can provides 1/3 of the NRV (Recommended Nutrient Value) for each vitamin. There's no point in over-dosing when several bottles are consumed during the day.

A sports drink, also known as an energy drink, fulfils a dual objective during physical effort:

To provide constant energy (without glycemic peaks) and ensure a healthy metabolism (maintenance of glycogen stocks).
Provide mineral salts and trace elements (electrolytes), amino acids (BCAAs) and vitamins to compensate for losses due to perspiration and promote water assimilation in the body.

Corn maltodextrin, sucrose, fructose, natural flavors: lime, grapefruit and orange, sodium bicarbonate, BCAA (L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine), citric acid, potassium bicarbonate, magnesium citrate, coloring ingredients : concentrated beet juice, concentrated acerola juice, lemon juice and turmeric powder, vitamins (C, B3, E, B1, B2, B6, B9, D), zinc bisglycinate.

BENEFITS:

Isotonic drink. This means it has the same concentration as blood. It is therefore easily absorbed. A drink that is too concentrated (hypertonic) slows digestion and limits hydration. A drink that is too dilute (hypotonic) favors hydration, but at the expense of nutrient absorption.
Tri-source energy (maltodextrin, sucrose and fructose) for fast but lasting energy release (35.5g of carbohydrates per serving), but only 17.5g of sugar to avoid sugar crash after several hours.
