Our pro-level carbon road crankset. The Zayante Carbon is the ultimate combination of lightness, stiffness and versatility.

The Santa Cruz Mountains are steeped in road cycling history. To honor it, we named our top-of-the-line crank Zayante, after the legendary redwood-covered climb so named-a secret training ground for many local pros.

Made exclusively in our own carbon lab, the Zayante is an in-house product from start to finish. From the first sketches on a napkin to rapid prototyping, successive revisions, exhaustive testing and certification for production. Developed and manufactured in-house with our own hybrid "RTM+Filimant Winding" manufacturing methods... all done by our dedicated team, all Praxis, all for you.

Today's bikes have to deal not only with smooth roads, but also with gravel and the occasional side road with lots of cobblestones. The Zayante and its direct mount interface can easily go from 2X to 1X with just 3 bolts. So whatever your route or need... Build it the way you want it and the way you want it. It's modular and does everything equally well.

Technologies

M30

Praxis Works M30 bottom bracket shells can only be used with Praxis Works M30 cranksets. The M30 axle is a kind of Oversize GXP". It is 30mm thick and reduced to 28mm at the left end to fit the housing on the opposite side of the cassette. A corrugated washer is used on the cassette side to ensure pre-tension, and a 30mm housing is opposed by a 28mm bearing on the opposite side. The M30 combines the advantages of wide bearings with the benefits of a robust 30 mm shaft. This provides a secure hold and better power transmission.
