Description

Top-of-the-range 29" wheel, hand-mounted in Dynamal aluminium offering an excellent weight/stiffness ratio, an alloy with excellent mechanical properties, enriched with magnesium and silicon. On this model, the 359 Vibrocore, Spank has focused on strength and stiffness with its OohBah design and internal width of 30.5mm / height 19mm / width 35mm. The rim has been engineered to reduce pinching and tyre movement at low pressure (BeatBite technology) and the BeadNip double hook technology improves tyre fit. This rim also features the patented Vibrocore ultra-low density foam, designed to reduce vibration and resonance in the wheel. Top of the range!

Main features:

The moderately low 19mm profile height and wide width balance the benefits of radial compliance with high lateral stiffness and predictable handling.
Radial compliance improves traction over bumps and irregularities, while reducing negative rider feedback. This improves performance and comfort.
The Vibrocore™ inner well reduces the transmission of harmful vibration frequencies, meaning less vibration for the suspension and rider, while increasing rim life.
The 30.5mm internal width is extremely versatile, fitting tyres from 2.0" to 2.6", and even allowing the use of larger tyres without negative squaring of the tyre profiles.
Bead Bite tubeless hooks improve tubeless performance and tyre safety, even at lower pressures.
