The SQlab 6OX Ergowave Active 2.1 is not only our bestseller, but also the most popular saddle in the trade press. In reader surveys, it makes SQlab the most popular E-MTB saddle brand in Germany.

The new ERGOWAVE® shape and the new active system improve the saddle in many details and make it unbeatable on the e-bike in terms of relief, comfort, technology. In particular, the important support at the rear has been increased.

The wave-shaped 6OX profile, which curves from the rear to the front, offers a perfect shape for most pelvic bones. The raised rear end provides additional support in the rear and ensures efficient power transmission. The grip material on the raised back offers additional support to the rear. In addition, the saddle cover is sturdy, especially around the edges.

The flat, lowered saddle nose applies less pressure to the sensitive areas of men and women. For even better pressure relief, especially on long technical climbs, the 6OX's seat nose has become slightly wider, but just as flat and with the largest possible surface area. The padding has been designed for the specific needs of the E-MTB, with cushioning properties perfect for rough off-road terrain.

The active system has not only become lighter, but also much more flexible. This increases comfort for the seat bones and relieves pressure on the intervertebral discs. In particular, the mobilization of the intervertebral discs is now clearly perceptible. The active movement is even more adjustable in the new models, as the elastomers have become smaller and lighter.

The product advantages of the SQlab 6OX Ergowave Active 2.1

  • The proven and exceptional shape of the SQlab saddle, with its saddle nose that dips below the level, also offers more freedom for the 6OX and less pressure for both men and women.
  • The pressure mapping diagram shows a medically optimal pressure distribution on the pelvic and pubic bones. Almost no pressure is exerted on the perineal area.
  • The shape of the SQlab saddle, with its raised seat surface, is already perfectly suited for riding uphill and also provides more power to the pedals on straightaways. In addition, a special anti-slip logo ensures a better grip at the rear.
  • The coating material on the upper surface provides additional support towards the rear.
  • Thanks to the SQlab active saddle technology, the saddle follows the pedaling movement, which increases comfort, mobilizes the intervertebral discs and minimizes pressure on the pelvic bones.
  • For the targeted strengthening of the back muscles, we have collaborated with Dr. Markus Knöringer, medical specialist in neurosurgery, intervertebral disc surgery and spine surgery, developed the SQlab back primer.
  • The active SQlab technology has not only become lighter but also softer and is additionally adjustable thanks to elastomers with three degrees of hardness.
