Our short-nosed performance racing saddle features 3D-printed padding for all-over zonal cushioning comfort and an all-carbon shell and rails to save weight without sacrificing support.

Fizik's 3D-printed Adaptive padding finally extends to the Argo family, creating the perfect combination for those who want exceptional, long-lasting comfort on a versatile platform that offers both stability and balance.

The evolution of digital 3D printing has enabled us to develop a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials. The padding of the Adaptive saddle is manufactured by Carbon® using its revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that uses digital projection of ultraviolet light, oxygen-permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.

Thanks to Carbon's technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented opportunity: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones in the saddle, tuning each one separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is designed for distinct damping and mechanical response, brought together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure thanks to improved weight distribution, for enhanced comfort across the entire saddle surface.

Our most versatile saddle shape, Argo is at home on a wide variety of bikes and surfaces. Whether riding on smooth tarmac or navigating technical terrain, the Argo saddle is designed to help riders find a better posture, placing them in a more planted position for greater stability and better weight distribution. In addition, the shorter, plunging-nose design offers superior support when adopting a powerful, aerodynamic pedaling position.

To develop the ideal Adaptive comfort zones, we studied the different riding positions and pressure points of professional and amateur cyclists, both in the Fizik labs and on open roads, gravel tracks and trails. During each phase of development, new iterations were carefully tested, with an emphasis on understanding pressure changes with different bike geometries, riding positions and surface types.

The 00 is the lightest option in our Argo range, with low-profile 3D-printed padding combined with an incredibly stiff full-carbon shell and rails, all tuned for maximum power transfer without compromising comfort.
