The FURIOUS is a sleek bike with a timeless line. He is able to panic the lap times thanks to his dynamism. And to give a smile to riders who are more attracted by a freeride and fun practice. DH in all its forms, without compromise Designing a simple, high-performance bike is not that simple. The FURIOUS is a concentrate of technology, which draws its experience from all the platforms previously designed. Commencal worked extensively on the kinematics, the geometry and the construction of the frame to achieve this result. In its construction, the FURIOUS uses a series of aluminum tubes (AL 6066) with triple stops whose shapes are reflected to improve their mechanical characteristics. Kinematics side, two anchoring positions are available for the rocker and are easily modifiable. Two major advantages to this system. 1) Be able to independently use spring or air shocks without having to compromise. 2) Choose between an operation focused on grip (sensitive) or focused on dynamism (responsive). In other words, ride a bike that is a bit more DH (sensitive) or Bike Park / Jumps (responsive). The 2 curves of the kinematics are anyway more linear than those of its predecessor, for a better touchdown (the tire / ground contact is sharper) and more comfort in the travel. It is now possible to ride with a weaker SAG, without this being uncomfortable. Reliability remains one of our major concerns. The bearings are oversized and the rocker is designed to minimize the stress applied to the shock absorber. This ensures better operation and optimizes its reliability.It is connected to the stay cables by integrating them as well as possible to visually form one and the same part.
The shock mount is recessed into the down tube and the line is "cleaned" of any items that may complicate the frame line.

Alexrims wheels and Maxxis DH carcass tires complete this setup.
With its Sand finish, the Furious Ride is in total harmony with the trails of Bike Parks.
