What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

Like all Cube's frames, the Cube Stereo One22 is all about providing the best performance at the lowest possible weight. Hydroformed tubing is triple butted to save as much weight as possible without sacrificing strength. The tapered head tube and Boost 148 rear axle ensure steering precision and excellent pedalling efficiency. And it's all built around our Efficient Trail Control kinematics and a 130 mm fork, with Agile Trail Geometry putting you firmly in control at all times. There's even a SizeSplit XS option with 27.5in wheels for riders who are shorter in stature, but don't want to compromise on performance.
Class-leading trail performance and comfort is the whole point of the Cube Stereo One22 Race. To that end, we chose Shimano's legendary Deore/XT 1x12 transmission for its reliability and extraordinary range. Then we added smooth, powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – so you're always in complete control, whether you're climbing or descending. The RockShox Recon Gold air fork and Deluxe Select+ rear shock deliver superbly comfortable bump-taming performance. And it's all topped off with a Fulcrum wheelset shod with Maxxis tyres, and a CUBE dropper post for better control on the downhills. The only remaining question is, where would you like to explore next?
