What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

These are the defining qualities of the Cube Stereo Hybrid One55 C:68X, which makes use of up to six different fibre types to meet the specific demands of each part of the frame. The result is a chassis that's up to 20% lighter compared to our Stereo Hybrid 140 frame, but stiffer too – and strong enough to take on the toughest trails. An adjustable head angle and longer reach contribute to handling that more confident riders will love, serving up a cut-and-paste feel that enables tricky line choices even at speed thanks to 150 mm of progressive rear wheel travel. Full internal cable routing reduces clutter and maintenance, and the Bosch System controller is neatly housed inside the top tube and can be controlled via Bluetooth from the Mini Remote. It's the complete package.
All-mountain riding just got a whole lot more exciting, and this bike is the reason. The Cube Stereo Hybrid One55 C:68X SLT 750 29 is a game-changer, blending a sophisticated C:68X carbon frame with a progressive geometry for genuinely kick-ass alpine trail performance, both up and down. In fact, it's one of Cube's lightest-ever full-power e-mtbs. Sram's XX1 Eagle AXS gears work with Bosch's fourth-generation CX drive unit and a 750 Wh battery to deliver miles of mountain-taming pedalling and seamless, perfect shifts every time. Newmen Advanced SL A.30 carbon wheels shod with Schwalbe Magic Mary and Nobby Nic 2.4in tires are held in check by Magura's powerful MT7 hydraulic discs and oversized rotors. And a Fox 36 Factory Grip2 fork, Float X Factory shock and Fox Transfer Factory remote dropper post all help ensure you're in full control, no matter how rowdy things get.
