The Magura MT5 brake has progressive and powerful braking thanks to the 4 independent pistons offered at an affordable price. All the MT7 DNA is found in our MT5 model for downhill and enduro. Reliability, robustness and lightness.
The entire MT range can be used for all types of practice without restriction
The MDR-P disc has a constant braking performance even under continuous stress thanks to the special patented toothing of the outer and inner rings (Dovetail Interlink technology)
The levers
Magura has developed a new material , Carbotecture , a carbon-based manufacturing process in a thermoplastic matrix for maximum strength.
The levers are ambidextrous, so mounting is possible on the right as well as on the left. The levers now have a new, more ergonomic shape.
The MT has a lever free play adjustment via a T25 screw
Maintenance is child's play since a single T25 Torx key is sufficient for assembly and bleeding.
Stirrup
4-piston caliper, it is made of aluminum (hot-cast aluminum) in 2 bolted parts. Its open shape facilitates heat dissipation.
The hose is adjustable
New seals associated with the shape of the pistons ensure that they return to position even in mud or frost.
Originally in Postmount format, it is delivered without an adapter.
