Description
Creating a brake with power and with the right feel, that was the challenge. Hayes did this by creating a whole new system. The Hayes Dominion A4 brake is factory set for the shortest possible backstop and a clean point of contact. The Dominion A4 brake caliper uses four pistons in the stiffest design possible. It features a cold forged caliper and KingPin pad retaining screw that increases stiffness. With a motorsport inspired two-port bleed system, DOT 5.1 fluid and Kevlar hose, the hydraulic system is designed for peak performance in all temperatures and for easy and efficient maintenance.
The Dominion A4 SFL version has a shorter brake lever, specially designed for more compact ergonomics. Hayes' development team have created a dedicated lever that is ideal for small hands and gives riders the same stopping power.
