Between Bolzano, Bressanone and Brenta, winter in the Dolomites offers an intricate network of trails for those wishing to venture into remote terrain.

The Alp Mate Winter Mid were developed for mountain enthusiasts looking for reliable hiking or snowshoeing boots for the coldest months of

the year.

They feature a thick suede upper and rugged stretch fabric with a waterproof, breathable membrane to keep snow, mud and rain out.

These shoes are designed for winter performance and feature the SALEWA® 3F system of rugged Kevlar cables that provide flexibility, heel support, and a stable, protective fit. Inside, the warm Alpine Wool lining provides enhanced thermal insulation, especially in cold weather, while the integrated durable EVA midsole provides a smooth footing and superior shock absorption on hard terrain.

Plus,

the climbing lacing and adaptive eyelets adjust easily for a secure and precise fit

Underfoot, the Pomoca ™ Winter Hike outsole has a notch designed to give stability, grip and traction on rock, mud and especially snow and ice, while its S-Path biomechanical technology supports natural movement both on and off the trail. These shoes are a Salewa Committed product with a durable water-repellent (DWR) PFC-free coating and are manufactured under strict third-party verified standards of social responsibility and fair labor conditions.
