The Samaya2.5 simplifies access to the bivouac by completely rethinking versatility through its modularity to guarantee a perfect match between the tent and your use. Depending on the number of people, the altitude, the weather and the type of ground encountered, you'll have the choice of equipping yourself with a footprint, a vestibule and a removable mosquito net thanks to its integrated zip.
This iconic Samaya® 4-season tent adapts to all your needs, even in the most extreme conditions. Whether you're heading for an alpine-style mountain ascent or a trek, the Samaya2.5's versatility guarantees a successful adventure!
The Samaya2.5 is quick to assemble and disassemble thanks to its self-supporting structure. Its domed shape maximizes the tent's habitable volume without compromising compactness when folded. Very vertical walls and high ceilings guarantee comfort. Three large pockets allow you to segment your gear. The hexagonal shape also avoids any weakness in wind resistance.

NANOVENT® . EXCLUSIVE SAMAYA TECHNOLOGY
Samaya specializes in "single-wall" tents, with a single fabric and therefore a single layer between the interior and the outside environment. This design saves weight and space when folded, with only half the fabric surface area needed to build the tent. An ultra-light, low-volume tent can either carry more equipment for longer autonomy, or be lighter and move faster with less fatigue.
To maintain the same properties as "double-wall" tents, this type of design requires the use of technical textile materials. In the world of "single-wall" tents, it is common practice to use waterproof-breathable membrane fabrics to ensure protection from the outside environment and to evacuate steam emitted by the user. The porosity and air permeability of these membranes also enable the regeneration of indoor air and the maintenance of a comfortable and safe ecosystem for users.Samaya has created Nanovent® technology and optimized its electrospinning technique. Very specific adjustments of polyurethane nanofilaments allow air to pass through the membrane while guaranteeing high impermeability. Today, this technology enables Samaya to offer the most versatile tents on the market. This membrane adapts perfectly to the environment in which it is located, guaranteeing flawless waterproofing and optimum condensation management. The ALPINE range is based on this technology, with a 3-layer laminated fabric at the heart of which is the Nanovent® membrane (between hydrophobic Nylon on the outside and hydrophilic Nylon on the inside).
DYNEEMA® FLOOR: Dyneema® composite was chosen by Samaya for the floor of ALPINE range tents and assault tents because of its exceptional properties. Dyneema® is a laminated textile made up of monofilaments of UHMWPE fiber and two layers of Mylar®.
The Dyneema® filaments, superimposed at 90° to one another, provide the fabric's mechanical qualities and enable it to contain tearing in the event of perforation. The two sheets of Mylar® hold everything together, providing excellent abrasion resistance and an unprecedented 20,000 mm of waterproofing.
