The Nordisk Telemark series is appreciated for its ideal combination of space, weight, ease of use and robustness. With the introduction of a 2-door PU version, it's not only suitable for ultralight adventures and long-distance runs, it also becomes the obvious choice for backpackers, looking for solid, durable shelter that won't fill their packs or hurt their backs.
The Telemark 2.2 PU tent is built in the same way as the original, legendary, ultralight and award-winning Telemark 2 ULW tent. There are two main differences between the original and the 2.2 PU versions. Firstly, the delicate "weight-is-everything!" fabric is replaced by a tough Rip-stop polyester, which will prove durable and reliable in all conditions. Secondly, an extra inlet has been added to facilitate entry and exit. Let's be honest, it's essentially a night door so you don't have to step over each other at night to get out to pee.
Apart from that, we've retained all the features of the classic Nordisk Telemark: it's superbly ventilated, has easily adjustable guy ropes, a magnetic "quick-snap" door closure, interior pockets for storage, four sewn-in cornice poles and the option of converting the two outer doors into a kitchen awning, using the two extra mini poles and the extra guy rope included
