This hybrid model between a tent and a tarp is used with your 2 trekking poles (not supplied) as a supporting structure. It features a side entrance and an apse. All for 920 g!

2 aluminum stakes (each with 2 rushes) at the feet increase the useful volume.
A 60 cm-deep side apse (storage space between the bedroom and the flysheet) can accommodate a 50-60 liter backpack, mountain gear and a pair of hiking boots.

Assembly tips
- Start by setting your poles to 115 cm in length.
- Then plant the sardines in the 4 corners of the tarp tent. As the tarpaulin and bedroom are pre-assembled, slide one pole under the tarpaulin, in line with the door, and the other, opposite, on the outside, on the solid wall side.
- Then install the 2 aluminum poles in the slots provided at the foot of the tent.
- All that's left to do is guy the poles and adjust the tension (you can play with the height of the poles).
This tarp tent requires 2 trekking poles (ideal height 115cm - max 120cm) for its structure. These poles are not supplied with the tent. The sardines, made of 7075 T6 aluminum, have an anvil-shaped head that makes them extremely strong. This architecture makes for a very light tent, but one that needs to be secured to the ground, as it won't stay up on its own.
Forclaz tents are laboratory-tested:
- erected tent, 200 liters/m²/hour (3 hours, equivalent to a tropical downpour).
- 20-denier polyester double-roof (2,000 mm) and 40-denier polyamide ground sheet (3,000 mm) are made of coated polyurethane (inside) and siliconized polyurethane (outside).
- heat-sealed seams.
To guarantee wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, stretched without excess, with all guy lines fully extended around the tent. In this way, it will remain habitable even in winds of up to 70 km/h close to the ground.
3-season tent: your tent will protect you from the harsh weather conditions you may encounter in spring, summer or autumn.
It will withstand light snowfalls, but is not designed to withstand heavy loads on the structure.
Your tent is designed for touring bivouacs, not for static day use. We advise you to avoid leaving it in direct sunlight as much as possible, as ultralight fabrics can be sensitive to UV rays, which can weaken them.
