Ease of use :

Pan support on 3 feet, perfectly suited for Forclaz Trek 500 stainless steel pots (13.5 cm).

Installation :

Place the hot r on the cartridge to align the threads. To screw.
Install the assembly on a flat and clear surface.
Open the flow adjustment valve, switch on the piezo (several times if necessary). Your hot r is on.
We advise you to light your hot r with a cooking pot in place above the burner.
Attention the stability of the whole ..

Heating time :

Our internal tests give us values that reflect the conditions of use more. Indeed, we tested our hot r with the Trek 500 Inox meals, filled with a liter of water.
Result: 2750 watts. Consumption: 200g / h. Heating time: 3 min 04.
The results and performances of different hot zones must be analyzed in a comparable way (same conditions and parameters).

Heating time (continued):

The heating time of a hot r is subject to a mandatory normative process for EU certification but which does not necessarily reflect the actual conditions of use.
Parameters standard EN521 (calorific bits):
Propane gas 3 bar pressure, without container.
Results: 4.1 kW / 292.5 g / h.

Tips :

Many parameters influence the capacity and performance of your heater: atmospheric pressure, wind and humidity, ... and can therefore vary the boiling temperature, the heating time as well as the number of liters heated per cartridge.
We strongly recommend that you use a wind screen to optimize your gas consumption.
The performance of a hot r is therefore assessed according to the gas consumed / heating rate.

Eco-design :

Our teams are environmentally conscious, so this product has benefited from a co-design process which consists in the elimination of surface treatments which would only have an aesthetic function. Thus, we have removed the paints and anodizing on all the parts (feet & pan support, chimney, setting the gas bit, ...) of this hot r, while guaranteeing its performance, its technical characteristics and its resistance.
