The cartridge is filled with a Primus LP gas mixture of propane, isobutane and butane

, making it suitable for all-season use.

The largest 450-gram cartridge is equivalent to about 1 liter of alcohol. This enables the cartridge to boil around 30 liters of water. The cartridges feature a self-sealing safety valve and a standard screw thread, ensuring that they can be used worldwide on a wide range of burners.
