The formidable ergonomics, which over time have become something of a calling card for Campagnolo , has been further improved with the latest introduction of the Super Record and Record 12-speed transmissions. The new standard, not only ergonomic but also customizable, is found in the design of the Chorus levers. With the exception of the brake lever built in aluminum, covered with a coating that optimizes the finish and the feel to the contact on the hand, the Ergopower Chorus have characteristics very similar to those of the Super Record and Record grips. Thanks to the new design of the palm rest and brake lever and the larger transmission levers, as well as the reach adjustment, which allows the Ergopower grip to adapt to different hand sizes, these new components are unique and versatile.
Campagnolo's proven one-lever-one-action concept prevents actuation errors, even in times of tension, during competitions, or fatigue. To control the 12-speed rear derailleur, the Ultra-Shift internal mechanism is used: it can move up to 5 cogs downhill or 3 cogs up in a single movement. Chorus handles offer the same extremely durable and flexible shifting performance as other 12-speed groupsets, thanks to the new cables and their housings.
Campagnolo brake calipers: powerful, flexible and reliable .
Campagnolo flat-mount brake calipers provide powerful and flexible braking in all situations thanks to pistons with a diameter of 22 millimeters. Pad return is now optimized to ensure there is no friction when the brake lever is released. A special metal sheet, placed between the pad and the caliper piston, dampens vibrations during braking.
The various Campagnolo brake calipers have been designed to be mounted in combination with the disc chosen by the user to always ensure high level performance: it is in fact possible to choose between the brake caliper with 140 disc (reserved cyclists weighing no more than 82 kg) or 160 mm in diameter. Particular attention has also been paid to facilitate maintenance and assembly operations : the pads have a wear indicator and their replacement is facilitated by the absence of physical return springs. The entry of the disc in the caliper has been neat in order to facilitate and accelerate the wheel change.
Advantages of the Campagnolo Ergopower Chorus Disc Brake handle:
- Comfortable support : the handles provide a firm and secure grip when pedaling as a dancer or when pressing high on the handle.
- Quick gear change : immediate chain engagement enables the front and rear derailleurs to be operated with minimum effort and regardless of the type of position on the handlebars.
- Multishifting : a sudden rise, a lightning attack: it is possible to find the right gear right away thanks to the multiple action guaranteed by Ultra-Shift technology.
- Ergonomics : the contoured support and the possibility of adjusting the reach allow all cyclists to use these grips, regardless of the size of their hands and fingers.

- Standard Flat Mount : Full compatibility with flat-mount frames.
- 22 mm phenolic resin piston : braking power and thermal insulation.
- Connection between piston and caliper : the return action of the pistons is now optimized for rapid return of the pads to position ensuring an overall space between the pad and the disc of 0.4 - 0.8 mm without risk of accidental contact.
- Interchangeable spare parts : pads, cylinders, screws and bolts are identical on each caliper. Full compatibility and optimization of spare parts resulting in convenient maintenance and a reduced number of components to keep in stock.
- Wear indicator : makes it very easy to know when the pads need to be replaced.
- Chamfered inserts : favor the entry of the disc and the speed of the wheel change.
- Anti-vibration plate : optimal braking and vibration-free.
- Two fixing screws : quick assembly and maintenance.
