The Meybo HSX Carbon
isa competition piece capable of winning the biggest championships. Featuring enhanced rigidity and cutting-edge technology, this carbon frame is excellence itself. Light, responsive, stable and rigid, it offers all the benefits you're looking for in a single frame. The HSX Carbon is the Dutch brand's highest-performance, fastest BMX Race frame. Its geometry has been specially designed for championship and world cup tracks, offering a perfect balance between handling and stability at very high speeds
.For the 2024 model, several important specifications need to be taken
into account. As far as braking is concerned, this frame is only compatible with Flat-Mount calipers. This means that the brake caliper is attached directly to the frame's chainstay. For optimum finish, two fixing screws pass through the rear base of the frame to hold the brake caliper in place. However, this configuration only works with 120 mm discs; the frame is not compatible with 140 mm discs
.Depending on frame size, the bottom bracket changes from the standard BB86 to a BB386. For Expert, Expert XL and Pro sizes, it's a BB86 (Ø 41 mm), while for larger sizes, it's a Pressfit BB386 (Ø 46 mm). This makes it possible to insert a 30 mm crankset axle without compromising bearing thickness. To
maintain a constant rear chainstay length whatever the development used, this frame comes with a 15 mm through axle. This considerably increases the rigidity of the rear section of the frame. This configuration requires a rear hub with a 15 mm axle. The axle itself is made of 7005 aluminum, entirely CNC machined. To maintain constant chain tension, Meybo has designed a chain tensioner that ensures optimum transmission whatever the development chosen. To optimize chain tension adjustment with this tensioner, we recommend using a chain with half links for more precise adjustment
.In short, the Meybo HSX Carbon 2024 is a concentration of new technologies with Toray T800 carbon tubes. Designed and engineered for competition, whether at high speed on a World Cup track or in first place on an indoor circuit, the HSX is a formidable weapon for racing.
