The SRAM GX Eagle AXS derailleur does just that, incorporating everything you'd expect from our AXS connected components. The GX Eagle AXS derailleur is smart enough to protect itself, thanks to its heavy-duty Overload Clutch function.
Designed with the many preferences of cyclists in mind, it is compatible with our 10-52-tooth cassette and its extended development range, as well as with our 10-50-tooth cassette. The SRAM GX Eagle AXS derailleur, with its heritage in the tried-and-tested GX Eagle mechanical range, is here for one thing only: to do its job
It's an all-new derailleur specially designed and optimized to work with a motor rather than a cable. AXS™ components make it possible to customize the system and stick as closely as possible to each rider's preferences via the AXS™ app.
Its shortened clevis offers 10 mm more between the derailleur and the ground and allows better winding of the chain on the cassette. It can then be fixed more inwards and more forwards than a mechanical Eagle™ derailleur.
