Description

A more compact and lighter version of our versatile ATC-Guide, the ATC-Alpine Guide is designed for mountain climbs. At just 73 grams, this featherweight belay / rappelling device is optimized for ropes from 8.1 to 8.5 millimeters in diameter while working with ropes from 6.9 to 9 mm. The ovalized anchor hole allows for easy rope feeding and pulling, and the device's guiding mode allows you to secure one or two climbers detached from an anchor. Multiple friction modes provide the optimum amount of stopping power when descending or rappelling.
