Five Ten shoes, climbing...
Five Ten was founded in 1985 by Charles Coles, a passionate climber, who wanted to own a pair of shoes with the necessary grip for his favorite sport.
He therefore developed the famous Stealth sole in high-friction rubber and discovered an incredible grip. He decides to create his own brand of shoes that he will name Five Ten (5.10) with reference to the Yosemite decimal system that classifies the different difficulties of the climbing track. Thanks to its many major innovations, Five Ten is quickly establishing itself as one of the world's leading manufacturers of climbing equipment.

The brand does not stop there, since it realizes that many outdoor practices need to have shoes with a flawless grip. Five Ten has therefore started to design shoes for hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and also for daily use. It quickly became a leader in the outdoor practices market and, in 2011, it joined the very closed group Adidas.
