Lapierre is a French bicycle brand, based in Burgundy.

The brand was founded in Dijon where it still has its headquarters. Buoyed by the post-war boom, Lapierre quickly established itself as a strong brand. This positioning was reinforced in the mid-1980s when the brand took the mountain bike turn that came straight from the Americas. The success is still there today with emblematic models (X-Control, Zesty, Spicy, etc.) and now with the Overvolt, developed in particular with Lapierre athletes.

On the road, the Dijon-based brand is not to be outdone. By joining forces with the Française des Jeux in 2002, which has since become Groupama-FDJ, Lapierre has accompanied the Madiot brothers' team in its last great successes with Bradley Mc Gee, Francis Mourey in the undergrowth and of course Arnaud Démare during his numerous victories and French Championship titles. How can we not finish without mentioning the rider who has written part of the history of French cycling, Thibaut Pinot.
