Inspired by decades of legendary hiking boots, Danner has teamed up with Vibram to blaze a new trail in hiking footwear. The combination of Vibram SPE midsole and Fuga outsole delivers unmatched traction on wet and dry surfaces, while providing superior cushioning without the weight. Designed to withstand the climate and terrain of the Pacific Northwest, Danner used a smooth full-grain leather upper and Danner Dry waterproof protection

DETAILS:

  • Full-grain leather upper: To guarantee its quality, the leather undergoes six different tests before being selected. Full-grain leathers are the most resistant and durable.
  • Danner Dry: 100% waterproof barrier allowing moisture to escape without letting water in, keeping your feet dry and comfortable all day long.
    OrthoLite insole: Three layers of variable density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
  • Vibram® SPE midsole: This rubberized EVA midsole retains the same cushioning properties as traditional EVA, but is more durable and doesn't damage as easily. This technology improves rebound, comfort and support.
  • Vibram® Fuga outsole: With its self-adjusting lugs and specially formulated Megagrip compound, this outsole offers incredible grip on wet and dry surfaces.
  • How it adapts: Designed for versatility, the shoe has a low profile for everyday use. Whether on the trail or exploring the city, this shoe was designed to offer plenty of room for comfort while maintaining a sleek profile. Ortholite insole included. Please note that the Mountain 600 is slightly large and we recommend taking a half-size down for a better fit.
