Featuring an all-new anatomical cut, the ROCLITE GTX fits perfectly at the heel to give you a locked-in feeling. It then widens with a generous toe box that allows your toes to spread out and stay comfortable as they swell on long hikes.
The ROCLITE range breaks with the idea that hiking boots need to be heavy and bulky. Inov 8 designs hiking boots and shoes that do things differently. Their shoes are lightweight, but they incorporate all the technology you need for a comfortable day on the trails.
Starting at the top, the ROCLITE MID GTX is made from a single piece of technical mesh, bonded to a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. This prevents water penetration, but also allows perspiration to escape from the shoe. What's more, META-CRADLE forms a protective cradle around your foot to help support and stabilize it when walking on uneven, technical terrain.
Underfoot, the POWERFLOW PRO cushioning midsole is the lightest Inov 8 foam to date, while offering supreme comfort and letting you feel the ground beneath. A flexible META-PLATE protection plate protects the underside of the foot from sharp stones. This flexibility offers protection, but doesn't make the shoe rigid, allowing your foot to react more naturally to the ground.
The STICKYGRIP rubber outsole provides excellent grip and traction on all surfaces. The shoe's hoof-shaped 6 mm rubber lugs dig into wet mud and cling to rocks for reliable grip.
