The Alto TR1 Plus semi-fixed tent offers maximum habitability for solo hikers who are active well into the shoulder season.
Vertical walls, a large, oversized door and the same functional details as the standard Alto combine with materials that will keep you warm and dry in windier, wetter weather.

Whenever

you go camping, you'll have more usable space, better ventilation and greater versatility than any other ultralight tent, because "going solo" shouldn't feel like "solitary confinement"

TECHNICAL DETAILS

TENSION RIDGE: The Tension Ridge's hoops are oriented upwards, like the dihedral wing of an aircraft, rather than downwards as is often the case with tents. This lifts the shape of the tent, providing much more head and shoulder room, higher doors, easier access and more usable space in the vestibule.
QUICK-CONNECT POLE LEGS: Typical of Sea to Summit's commitment to fine-tuning details to make gear frictionless and more functional, these machined aluminum clips make setting up the rainfly (either with the inner tent, or with a footprint in ultralight configuration) quick and easy. And they're far more durable than plastic buckles.
MODULAR STORAGE / LIGHT BAR: Each Sea to Summit tent packs into three storage bags, so you can easily distribute the load. During setup, two bags turn into gear storage pockets, while the pole storage bag (with translucent diffuser) becomes a light bar. Add one or two headlamps for soft lighting throughout the tent.
APEX VENT / BASE VENT: Mounted at the highest point, Apex vents allow warm, moist air to escape and channel fresh air into the tent. The vent can be easily zipped from inside the tent and requires no netting to retain its shape, greatly improving air circulation. The basic vent allows you to control humidity in damp conditions by opening or closing the lower part of the door while maintaining vestibule function and rain protection for your equipment.

Designed for 3+ seasons, the fabric inner tent prevents cold drafts. What's more, the waterproof floor performs better on even the wettest floors.
The tension ridge lifts the shape of the tent upwards for more usable head and shoulder space, and creates truly taller doors for easier entry and more vestibule storage.
The ultra-strong, lightweight, color-coded DAC NSL hoop set and quick-connect hoop feet make assembly easy.
Built for durability and waterproofing with premium materials, including DAC hoops, YKK zippers, 7-series aluminum hardware and PeU-coated double roof with glued seams.
FairShare storage system: the tent is stored in 3 storage bags to distribute the load. Once set up, the bags transform into storage pockets for your gear.
Light bar: add a headlamp and attach the tent pole storage bag to the tent apex for soft, even lighting.
The rainfly can be installed first for dry set-up and take-down.
Includes 9 Ground Control Light tent pegs and 4 removable Ground Control guy wires with custom eyelets.

The 15 cm-deep 20D nylon tank floor is designed to withstand a 2500 mm hydrostatic load, ideal for wet and swampy conditions.
The lightweight inner-tent fabric in 20 denier ripstop nylon prevents draughts and drifts.
The 15D nylon fly fabric coated with silicone and polyether polyurethane ensures long-lasting waterproofing.
The Tension Ridge"¢ poles face upwards, rather than downwards as is often the case with tents. This enhances the shape of the tent and considerably increases living space.
Apex Vent - at the highest point of the tent, this oversized vent efficiently expels warm air to prevent condensation, and can be easily zipped off from inside the tent.
Baseline vents let you control airflow and effectively manage moisture and condensation in humid conditions without letting rain in.
The Quick Connect Foot is a beautifully crafted, machined aluminum clip that makes it easy to attach the pole and inner foot. It's stronger than plastic buckles, which can break.
