DETAILS:

  • Matryx® textileis a patented, noble component recognized in the world of trail running, and produced in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. Ultra-resistant, lightweight and breathable, it's made from high-tenacity polyester coated with polyurethane (tear resistance, abrasion resistance, breathability).
  • Take a look at the profile of the Race Light... See that raised ridge running along the sole? That's the Up Bar® concept, a technology borrowed from Kiprun (road running), and developed with podiatrists. The aim? Optimize the dynamism of your stride and its energy return by stiffening these two supports without hindering your foot's movement.
  • The race light can be worn in competition (from 0 to 40 km, or up to 3 hours of running) and/or in training during a specific fast session. Let's face it, once you've put them on, the Race Light doesn't move a muscle... So all you have to do is focus on your goals, and run (fast)! Fitted for the slim feet of fast runners and competitors.
  • New lace pocket: Securing your laces in a pocket simply prevents them from coming loose, or getting caught in branches or low vegetation. The special feature of this sturdy, expandable pocket? It opens not at the top, but at the bottom, at the front of the shoe. As a result, the laces are more evenly distributed in the pocket.
  • The Race Light is all about lightness and dynamism. I'm sure you'll agree that 200g in size 39 is pretty (very) light. Dynamism is enhanced by the UP'BAR concept and the low drop (4 mm). The closer a drop is to drop 0, the more it encourages you to run with a "natural" stride, i.e. forefoot or midfoot.
